Kelly Gribbons
Paige Clarke is a second year mineral engineering
studentwithaminorinaboriginalstudiesattheUniver-
sityofToronto. SheismemberoftheCanadianInstitute
ofMiningStudentChapter,astudentmemberofProfes-
sionalEngineersOntarioandamemberoftheProspec-
tors and Developers Association of Canada. She is a
volunteer at the Kirkland Lake Community Living and
one of her personal goals is to foster respect between
FirstNationscommunitiesandminingoperationsinthe
North. She has volunteeredwithMeals onWheels, the
ChristmasWishFoundation,theSalvationArmyandthe
Kirkland Lake Festival Committee. Fully bilingual, Paige
plans to liveandwork in theNorthwhereher co-opex-
perience has beenwithAuRicoGold andKirkland Lake
Gold. ShespentlastsummerinMatachewanintheven-
tilationandsurveydepartmentofAuRicowhereshebuilt
anup-to-dateAutoCADlayersshowingallunderground
airtentstoensurethattheymetMinistrysafetystandards.
An advanced swimming instructor and qualified life
guard, she excels in outdoor sports events including
triathlonsandsnowshoeingcompetitions.
PaigeClarkeestétudiantededeuxièmeannéeen
génieminieravecunemineureenétudesaborigènes
àl'UniversitédeToronto. Elleestmembredelasection
étudiante de l'Institut canadien des mines, membre
étudiantedeProfessional EngineersOntarioetmem-
bre du Prospectors and Developers Association of
Canada. Paige est bénévole au Kirkland Lake Com-
munity Living et l'un de ses objectifs personnels est
de favoriser le respect entre les Premières nations et
les opérations minières du Nord. Elle a aussi été
bénévolepour lapopote roulante (Meals onWheels),
le Christmas Wish Foundation, l'Armée du salut et le

raines afind'être enmesured'adhérer auxnormes de
sécuritéduMinistère. Instructriceavancéedenatation
et sauveteuse qualifiée, elle excelle aux sports ex-
térieurs comme les triathlons et compétitions de ra-
quette.

KellyGribbons est étudianteendeuxièmeannée
engénie à l'UniversitédeGuelphoùelle se spécialise
en systèmes d'ingénierie et informatiques. Elle est
membre de l'équipe de hockey universitaire des
GuelphGryphons et, enathlétisme, elleparticipeaux
épreuves de lancer aux niveaux provincial, national
et international. En2013, Kelly est d'ailleurs nommée
athlète provinciale de l'année en lancer et a rem-
porté une médaille d'argent à l'épreuve du disque
aux Jeux d'été du Canada. L'année suivante, elle est
animatrice au camp de hockey du Gryphon où elle
supervise un groupe de 30 enfants âgés de cinq à
treize ans. Kelly est programmeuse informatique
compétenteenC, Java, Flashet Linux, et en systèmes
d'exploitation OS X et Windows. Pour avoir reçu la
plus haute moyenne cumulative en Génie des sys-
tèmes et informatiques et en génie informatique à
l'Université de Guelph, elle reçoit la bourse Interna-
tional Brotherhood of ElectricalWorkers. Ses contri-
butions bénévoles comprennent le soutien lors de
tournois de golf du Gryphon, la vente au détail au
profit du Gryphon et la collecte de fonds 2014 des

Kelly Gribbons is in her second year of engineer-
ing at the University of Guelph, specializing in engi-
neeringsystems andcomputing. She is amember of
theGuelphGryphons varsity hockey teamand com-
petedintrackandfieldthrowingeventsattheprovin-
cial, national and international levels. She was the
provincial athlete of the year in throwing events and
aCanada Summer Games silvermedalist inwomen’s
discus in 2013. She was a Gryphon Hockey Camp
counselor in 2014, supervising groups of 30 children
aged five to 13 and coaches children’s hockey as a
professional power skating instructor. Kelly is a pro-
ficient programmer in C, Java, Flash and Linux, OS X
andWindowsoperatingsystems. Kelly is the recipient
of the International Brotherhoodof ElectricalWorkers
Scholarship for highest cumulative average in Engi-
neering Systems and Computing and Computer En-
gineeringat theUniversityof Guelph. As avolunteer,
she assistedwith the Gryphon Golf Tournament, the
Gryphon Retail Sale and the Guelph Big Brothers Big
Sisters Fundraisers in 2014.
