In January 2012, the Unité d'enseignement et de recherche (UER) en sciences appliquées (Applied sciences research and teaching unit) at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) was officially replaced with the new École de génie. This new school of engineering offers undergraduate degrees in electromechanical and in mechanical engineering as well as a Masters of engineering program.

Along with many thanks for their support of its scholarship programs, CEMF wishes great success to both the new École de génie at UQAT as well as to its Director, Mr. Guyh Dituba NBgoma, ing., Ph.D.
