Launched in 2005, the Ambassador Awards and Corporate Partners Program enables the Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation to work with Canadian businesses to increase the number of female students in engineering which in turn provides a large pool of talent for corporations who are hiring engineers..

The Foundation's Awards Partners lend their valuable support and resources to create named scholarships administered by the Foundation at the undergraduate, master's or PhD level of study.

Corporate Partners select their level of financial support from the Bronze, Silver or Gold levels to support Canadian women pursuing their dream of becoming a professional engineer.

All Foundation awards are issued annually and are based on leadership, extracurricular activity and the ability of the applicant to act as a role model and ambassador for the profession.

Branding and Recognition:

Each Partner is provided with custom-designed promotional pages on the Foundation website – the number of pages is reflective of the level of support. This website is fully bilingual, attracts over 1600 unique visitors a month, 22 600 hits a month with a peak to 290,000 hits during scholarship season and is one of the Foundation's main social media hubs.

Every Fall, the Foundation holds its Annual Awards ceremony hosted at the Engineers Canada Board meetings in Ottawa, Ontario. Partners are recognized at this event through promotion within the Faces brochure.

Scholarship and Corporate Partners are also promoted in press releases, posters and brochures distributed annually throughout the year.

With an active FaceBook presence and Twitter account, the Foundation's scholarship recipients stay in touch, sharing information, ideas and resources.

Reaching Your Target Audience:

Reaching top engineering graduates by Canadian companies for recruitment is of paramount importance in today's competitive market. The Foundation can help.
