In early 2005 the Foundation embarked upon a major drive to
Canadian business to not only raise funds to support new
initiatives but to also sponsor new scholarships.
The first to step to the plate was Vale Inco with the new
Vale Inco Masters Scholarships in Engineering with the first
award of $10,000 in early 2006. Criteria and
application details for this scholarship may be found

Then in the spring of 2006, AMEC joined the Foundation by
funding a new Masters Scholarship and a second one for
Aboriginal women. Go

2008, Vale Inco re-allocated their scholarship funding to offer
three $10,000 Undergraduate Scholarships in Engineering in
addition to their remaining Masters Scholarship. Go
